Hi Sarah,

Glad to see you are settling in ok and embracing the experience, despite all the slipping down off paths and kicking trees ;)

Your project sounds like it is going to be interesting. I bet the lack of long drop toilets was a massive sigh of relief!

I enjoyed looking at the photos. From what I can see the jungle looks incredible (although I'm sure the experience of being there doesn't come through in the photo). I'm reckoning that by the end of the trip you'll be able to give Russell Brand a run for his money in the hair department ;)

Looking forward to the next post (assuming there is another one before you head out to the ulu).

Take care

Gareth

I like jungle hair! Very hair metal, no wonder you've had 'Welcome to the Jungle' in mind. Looking forward to hearing more about the Canyon project. x

Should probably leave a bit more than a single word!

Like the sound of the project, seems very interesting. Now lets see if you can whip those 'venturers' into a crack team of civil engineers.... even just a group of above average worker monkeys will do.

Also ,loving the pic of you in the Jungle, reminds me of the Arnie classic 'Predator'! or was it 'Jungle All The Way'? Arf! Arf!

Anyway, Remember: If it bleeds you can kill it!
